Diamante is best known as the city of murals, painted by the many that can be seen walking the streets of the country.They are, in fact, more than 200 works of art painted on the walls of the old town and the fraction Cirella made since 1981 by painters and artists of international renown. Every year this event has been developed with the project "Muralespanso" adding new paintings to those already existing.

In the second week of September not to be missed is the famous Hot Pepper Festival which gives the name Diamante, now known, the city of hot pepper. Film festivals, art, culture, satire, music, folklore and gastronomy are the setting for five days of the festival.
